I had an old mid-century modern Eames chair that was damaged beyond repair but still loved it so this is what I came up with. My husband filled the damaged area with wood putty. After it was dried and sanded I decoupaged some carefully chosen images that were torn from an old romance comic book. It was finished with 3 coats of lacquer. This project was done a few years ago and the chair now lives in a client's home.
